You can attend our Wellbeing Drop-In at all 3 campuses which is staffed by Wellbeing Assessors who work for the Student Wellbeing and Inclusivity Service, further information on how to access Drop In can be found here.

Our Wellbeing Assessors can give you a listening ear and signpost you to appropriate services. If you would feel more comfortable with a telephone or Zoom appointment, you can request this via our online appointment form

If you're living on campus, the Residence Life Team is available to assist you. They can offer advice, mediation, and support to address any concerns related to harassment or bullying within the residential community. You can find out more information here.

Oakwood Place
offer support to people in Essex that have experienced sexual assault. They provide healthcare and forensic medical examinations. To arrange an appointment, call 01277 240620 (24/7), you can find more information here.

The Rape Crisis Support Line  is a free 24/7 telephone service (0808 500 2222) for people who have experienced sexual violence, you can find more information here. 

Colchester based:
CARA
offer Independent Sexual Violence Adviser (ISVA) support to victims of sexual violence who are considering reporting to the police. They offer counselling sessions for victims and people supporting a victim. You can find more information here.

Southend based:
Synergy Essex
is a partnership of rape and sexual abuse centres in Essex: Centre for Action on Rape and Abuse (CARA), SERICC Rape and Sexual Abuse Specialist Service and Southend-on-Sea Rape Crisis (SOS Rape Crisis). You can call 0300 003 7777 to speak to a First Contact Navigator, you can find more information here.
